This piece, titled “My Squishy,” began as an exploration in painting transparency. After layer upon layer of transparent yellow, magenta and ultramarine, this piece caught that elusive sense of transparency and with it a soft and calming movement. The further you look into this piece, the more depth, shimmers and textures can be found.
The painted image wraps around the sides of the painting, so framing is optional to the collector.
