Laying on the earth with your spine nestled into the grasses, you look up. Through gilded grass blades that lightly sway in the breeze, you are surrounded in lucious ultramarine and soft ochre light. The goal of this piece was to capture the calmness and the glinting glory of a quiet evening below the moon’s glow, the silent swoop of an owl overhead and the hints of stars among the parting clouds. Titled “Cocooned in Gilded Grasses”, this pieces has quite an energy within it!
The painted image wraps around the sides of the painting, so framing is optional to the collector.
