The song, which is the finale song for Coastal Voices' Spring Homage Concert Series, follows the progression of a barren night into a thundering rainstorm and ending with the soft ethereal shimmers of a clearing sky. While listening and rehearsing this song, Janey Mae was inspired to create an oil painted embodiment of the music and to incorporate the oceanic influences of living on the Oregon Coast into the piece as well.
